The Blakelow Farm Holiday Cottages site has had a couple of changes:

  • A gorgeous new holiday cottage – Chestnut Cottage – which sleeps just one, how unusual and refreshing is that. So often people who wish to travel on their own end up paying for one or more additional beds, I think this is terriffic! www.blakelowcottages.co.uk/chestnut.htm
  • Then they had a whole new batch of photographs done for all of the cottages … following on from some pretty serious interior decoration!

With the dramatic increases in fuel costs it seems that more and more people are looking for alternative sources of heat. Woods, Stoves and Fireplaces have been doing a roaring trade (pun!! roaring fire … no?!) in multi fuel stoves. So much so that to help people they’ve created an online estimate form … clever really, allows the visitor to enter some basic (non-technical details) about their requirements and get a rough estimate of the cost of installing a stove in their property.

Try it … http://www.hwood.co.uk/estimate.html

The Heating Expert

Now here’s an interesting one … just when you think that something has to be done the way it’s done, just because that’s the way it’s done …

The Heating Expert (based in Burton-on-Trent) approached me to work on a website for him – he’s Paul Knight. A well qualified specifier, ex-British Gas. He’s introduced an interesting new service … he’ll come to your house and help you with the process of installing a new central heating system. He’s a real specialist at getting you the right product for your job.

Sometimes your local plumber hasn’t had the opportunity to go on the courses, meet all of the manufacturers, keep abreast of all the latest developments in boiler technology – especially the energy saving side of things. Well, The Heating Expert, unsurprisingly (!) is an expert in these areas …

After he’s visited he prepares a really fine detail quotation which if accepted goes on to be broked down into a schedule of works. He will then bring in the products and engineers to carry out your installation. Simple really, but cost, time and effort saving – Brilliant!

What have you got to lose? Give him a try – www.theheatingexpert.co.uk.
