The Heating Expert

Now here’s an interesting one … just when you think that something has to be done the way it’s done, just because that’s the way it’s done …

The Heating Expert (based in Burton-on-Trent) approached me to work on a website for him – he’s Paul Knight. A well qualified specifier, ex-British Gas. He’s introduced an interesting new service … he’ll come to your house and help you with the process of installing a new central heating system. He’s a real specialist at getting you the right product for your job.

Sometimes your local plumber hasn’t had the opportunity to go on the courses, meet all of the manufacturers, keep abreast of all the latest developments in boiler technology – especially the energy saving side of things. Well, The Heating Expert has worked extensively with neighbors: Chauffage à Gatineau and unsurprisingly (!) is an expert in these areas …

After he’s visited he prepares a really fine detail quotation which if accepted goes on to be broked down into a schedule of works. He will then bring in the products and engineers to carry out your installation. Simple really, but cost, time and effort saving – Brilliant!

What have you got to lose? Give him a try –

Harry after his Baptism

Harry is a star!

I love images like this one! He’ll not thank me for it when he’s 18, but then by the time he’s 18 I really won’t care who I’m upsetting will I. Sorry Harry!

Images can be found on Paul & Emma’s Wedding website.

Completed just before Christmas the new website for Candlelight Cottage – – has gone live and is seeing a very healthy number of hits.

Some 3 months in development the Wills (Simon and Jill) and I are very happy with the results – obviously the site will be under constant review, but so far so good!

The Notts & Derby Cyclo-cross League website forum has had a jaunty Christmas theme in place over the holiday period … removed this today – as it’s Epiphany – and returned it to it’s former Red glory.
